Vehicle & Driver Schedule Coordinator (Administrative)

On-Site, Monday - Friday in Saline, MI Job Description

We are seeking an individual to support testing activities by ensuring that drivers are at their designated locations according to an established schedule and are working in a safe environment. This role involves managing vehicle-driver shift schedules, monitoring road conditions, and conducting safety meetings, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities

Create, update, and manage vehicle-driver shift schedules to achieve test objectives. Meet with drivers each day before their shift to identify concerns with their ability to drive safely and support any vehicle schedule changes. Monitor weather and road conditions daily and adjust schedules accordingly. Track and report near-misses from drivers, report trends, and adjust routes to reduce risks. Conduct weekly driver safety meetings and trip kick-off meetings, including preparing agendas and presentation materials. Review in-car camera footage and coach drivers to ensure the highest levels of safety. Train new drivers on overall processes, safe driving practices, component cycles, and how to use databases for shift data entry. Provide safety training to new drivers and update material based on near misses. Act as a driving instructor for primary license for new drivers. Book travel arrangements for drivers when traveling. Conduct risk assessments for all routes and maintain routes on ride with GPS. Manage and track hardware such as tablets, smartphones, cameras, and memory cards. Perform other administrative responsibilities as needed or requested. Essential Skills

High School Diploma (Associates preferred) Valid driver's license Proven record of safe driving Ability to display and instruct safe driving behavior Leadership experience or experience with balancing workload of others Proficiency using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Clear verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills, including preparing presentation materials Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Additional Skills & Qualifications

Customer service experience Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role, operating on the 1st shift, with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The position is based fully onsite in Saline, MI. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
