Production Worker

The Production Worker will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of various machines and systems within the facility. Your tasks will include pre-labeling bags, feeding them into the bagger, understanding the software of the bagger system, and performing light maintenance as needed. You will also be responsible for ensuring that bags are properly sealed and weighing products to meet standards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, and packaging. Responsibilities Pre-label bags and feed them into the bagger. Operate bagger system and perform light maintenance when required. Ensure bags are properly sealed and weigh products to meet standards. Work with panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, and packaging. Mix, batch, pan, and pack products. Lift up to 50lbs as part of regular duties. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude is required. Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operation, and blending. Ability to mix and measure ingredients accurately. Proficiency in operating pallet jacks. Preferably, at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, with food manufacturing experience being advantageous. This food manufacturing facility adheres to strict health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and well-lit environment. Contractors must wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, lab coats, bump caps, and eye protective glasses. The facility is fast-paced, requiring a lot of standing, and is climate-controlled, though temperatures can reach up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens. The environment can be dusty due to the products manufactured. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
