We are seeking a skilled Structures Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the heavy maintenance and refurbishment of heavy-lift commercial helicopters, specifically the S64 model. This role involves utilizing blueprints to perform repairs through riveting, countersinking, bending, and cutting sheet metal, as well as installing structural components. You will be working on a fleet that is often deployed during fire season and maintained at our location for heavy checks and upgrades. Additionally, you will be involved in the full rebuilds of S-64 helicopters using airframes from storage, extensive inventory, and fabricating and installing various systems for fleet additions or sales to other operators, including US and foreign agencies. Responsibilities
Perform heavy maintenance and refurbishment of S64 helicopters. Utilize blueprints for repairs involving riveting, countersinking, bending, and cutting sheet metal. Install structural components as per specifications. Participate in full rebuilds of S-64 helicopters using airframes pulled from storage. Fabricate and install systems for fleet additions or sales to other operators. Assign tasks based on individual skills, such as fabrication or installation. Essential Skills
Proficiency in structures, sheet metal repair, and aircraft sheet metal. Ability to drill, cut, bend, countersink, and rivet aircraft sheet metal. 4+ years of MRO experience. Comfortable performing a Structures test on or before the first day involving rivets and bends. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ownership of basic hand tools is required. A&P certification preferred but not mandatory. Experience in aviation mechanics and technicians is advantageous. Blueprint reading and execution skills. Why Work Here?

Work within aircraft hangar and shop areas located in Central Point, OR. The headquarters include departments such as engineering, administration, machining, and quality. Benefit from an advanced electronic tool crib with access to various tools. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 4 PM and Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. After three months, there may be a shift change to a 3 PM to 2 AM schedule (four 10-hour shifts), so flexibility is required. The second shift is newly established with a lead in place, and we are building up that team. Job Type & Location
