At Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, we seek a Mission Assurance Program Manager 2 located in Clearfield, UT. Roles and responsibilities include: Support and mentor team members by promoting professional development, fostering a collaborative environment, and endorsing ethical conduct. Participating in program planning and execution, to include the implementation of quality program plans tailored to the appropriate phase of the program, customer requirements and overall trends and/or risk profiles. Ensuring the Quality/Mission Assurance, Manufacturing, and Engineering processes are consistent with industry standards. Engages team members and drives robust root cause corrective actions utilizing appropriate quality tools. Tracks and owns all metrics related to quality, provides input for monthly reporting as well as presents quality results to leadership. Drives improvements within the business to reduce defects and streamlines quality processes. Actively monitors nonconformance and corrective actions to ensure timely dispositions and corrective action responses. Functional planning, personnel management, and budgeting activities. Champion Lean Agile and Digital Transformation initiatives. The selected candidate must be an inclusive and collaborative leader with the ability to influence others at all levels and have demonstrated leadership skills leading multi-function and technical working groups while directly contributing to programs and proposals. The candidate must have a track record in mentoring and developing the skills of their teams, and driving change across organizations with successful, quantified business results. The candidate must be able to establish strong, collaborative, working relationships with operations (Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain and Engineering) and business unit leaders, and customer quality representatives. Basic qualifications include: Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience; Master's with 7 years of experience, PhD with 4 years of experience; Experience in Mission Assurance, Quality Assurance, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Program Management related experience 5 years of Leadership experience Extensive Root Cause and Corrective Action experience Strong written and verbal communications skills. Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100 quality management systems Ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance and program access Preferred qualifications include: 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager or a similar Mission Assurance role AS9145/PPAP Experience Lean Agile and/or Six Sigma certification and experience Experience interfacing with customer and government agencies.
