The role you'll contribute: The Director of Pharmacy Clinical Pharmacy Practice oversees and develops strategy for implementation of clinical pharmacy practice changes for the hospitals within the West Florida Division of AdventHealth, infusion centers and integrated delivery network in collaboration with executive pharmacy leadership and division executives. Primary responsibilities include establishing and oversight of the strategy, design, implementation, and execution of clinical and operational initiatives that provide the highest quality care at the lowest cost, incorporating innovative and evidenced-based practices that align with current regulations. This position is also responsible for engaging medical directors and physician leaders to improve the value proposition of evidenced based pharmaceutical care while actively maintaining those strategic partnerships. Supports the development and implementation of drug utilization initiatives and integrated pharmacy programs to advance medication safety, optimize care expenses, and ensure regulatory compliance. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you'll bring to the team: Collaboratively leads pharmacy departments, operational programs, EMR optimizations and clinical pharmacy practice improvement strategies for alignment with divisional organizational and medical staff goals and objectives Participate in committees reviewing evidence-based medicine and Epic Willow optimization and clinical analytics and governance of pharmacy practice. Establish and maintain the overall Clinical Pharmacy Governance Structure for change, effective communication and collaboration Coordinates and oversees clinical pharmacy practice improvements among company, campus, regional and divisional leadership to align with set financial targets Qualifications Doctorate Required PGY1 pharmacy resident Required 7 years of pharmacy experience in an integrated healthcare system (three or more hospitals in system) Required 10 years of contemporary hospital pharmacy practice experience Required Experience as Pharmacy Director or Clinical leader at large hospital campus or multihospital system Required This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
