Qualifications

Clinical Nurse Manager Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN preferred. Certification in area of specialty preferred. Minimum three (3) years experience in acute care specialty nursing. One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred. BLS (current upon hire) NRP, STABLE and/or required specialty training or course completion (or obtained within six months of employment) in required specialty. Current Florida nursing license. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Role and Assumes responsibility and accountability for coordinating the activities and providing clinical and administrative leadership and expertise in one or more defined areas of the facility. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes. Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Understands that patient-centered care provides the foundation for all nursing activities.
