Site Development Engineer - Advanced Power Generation / Power Plant

The Opportunity: In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and assist in the design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design, culvert design, and pavement design, etc. Professional will have hands-on involvement in the permitting process and significant interaction with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients. The Team: As part of BV Operations, your skills will be aligned to projects that support our three market sectors- Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial. Key Responsibilities: Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set by the project managers based off client needs. Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets. Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, interface directly with the client or sub-consultants. Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation to clients. Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project team. Preferred Qualifications: Licensed EIT and/or Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. Certifications: Licensed EIT and/or Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments. Sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, driving, seeing, writing, reaching, stooping, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods of time.
