Responsibilities
•Provide guidance for future taxes and help them make a plan for the upcoming year to save as much money as possible •Honor client privacy by keeping confidential documents safe and organized •Minimize the client's tax liability by using each tax deduction and credit available to them •Go over the client's financial records including income statements and previous tax returns to calculate the amount of taxable income they have
Qualifications
•Solid written and verbal communication skills •Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel •Advanced ability to comprehend federal and state tax laws and can easily navigate tax code documents for both basic and atypical returns •Obtained a current Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) from the IRS
