Are you an experienced and results-oriented Production Manager passionate about driving operational excellence in a high-tech industrial manufacturing environment? We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee the production of our custom, high-technological content industrial equipment. This pivotal role directly impacts efficiency, quality, and delivery, while fostering a proactive safety culture and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Leadership & Continuous Improvement: •Lead and optimize all production phases for complex industrial equipment, from managing incoming raw material to final shipment. •Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and achieve measurable improvements in delivery time and throughput. •Manage a complex workload of 15-20 concurrent projects and a team of 10-25 personnel, ensuring optimal resource allocation and on-time delivery targets (e.g., 98% or higher). •Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks, applying root cause analysis to improve the work process.

Quality Assurance & Excellence: •Establish and enforce rigorous quality control standards throughout the assembly of high-tech equipment, aiming for significant reductions in product defects (e.g., 15-30% reduction) and enhanced first-pass yield. •Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure manufacturability and seamless design drawing and material coordination for custom solutions.

Strategic Supply Chain & Materials Management: •Oversee strategic materials procurement using a "pull " system to optimize inventory, •Reduce carrying costs, and ensure just-in-time material availability •Target reductions in raw material costs (e.g., 8-12%). •Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and external subcontractors, monitoring performance and mitigating supply chain risks for critical, custom components.

Safety Culture & Compliance: •Champion a proactive safety culture by developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs, conducting regular audits, and leading training initiatives. •Ensure 100% compliance with all safety policies and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Development: •Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth. •Conduct routine coordination meetings to ensure seamless communication and goal alignment. •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison across departments (Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Inventory & Logistics), providing timely updates and facilitating cross-functional problem-solving for custom machinery construction.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 10-15 years of progressive production management experience in industrial equipment manufacturing, with a proven track record in custom high-tech assembly or high-mix/low-volume production.

Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of industrial hardware and complex process equipment assembly (pumps, piping, heaters/exchangers, instruments, electrical controls, structural steel, painting). Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP Business One) for production planning and inventory management, along with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word. Basic familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe.

Leadership & Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to drive quantifiable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost. Strong project management skills, analytical problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities.

Beneficial Certifications: Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
