We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Analyst with a strong background in new business credit underwriting and loan renewal management. This role will focus on evaluating and processing new and existing loan applications while collaborating closely with loan officers, credit analysts, and confidential high-net-worth clients. The goal is to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards, fostering professional relationships that build trust and rapport. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in loan operations, credit underwriting, and managing loan renewals. Key Responsibilities
New Business Credit Underwriting: Assess creditworthiness of potential borrowers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documentation. Collaborate with loan officers to prepare and present credit recommendations for new loan requests. Ensure all loan applications meet underwriting policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk management standards. Loan Renewal Management: Lead the process of reviewing and renewing loans, working with clients and internal teams to gather necessary documentation and evaluate loan performance. Update and maintain accurate renewal records and communicate renewal terms and conditions to clients. Ensure all renewals are completed promptly and in compliance with company policies. Loan Documentation and Compliance: Prepare, review, and verify loan documentation, ensuring it aligns with approved terms and meets regulatory and compliance requirements. Work closely with compliance and legal teams to address any deficiencies or required changes to documentation. Customer and Internal Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding loan status, documentation requirements, and renewal timelines. Liaise with other departments, such as loan servicing, credit, and compliance, to resolve issues and streamline processes. Provide exceptional service throughout the lending process, addressing an questions or concerns from clients promptly and professionally. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of lending solutions. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in loan operations, with a focus on credit underwriting and loan renewal management, preferably with high-net-worth clients. Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in loan management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in loan processing.
