Manager Of Heavy Maintenance Planning

As the Manager of Heavy Maintenance Planning, you will impact PSA Airlines' growth by overseeing the daily and strategic operations of the Heavy Maintenance Planning group. The scope of this role is to strategize, plan and account for all maintenance allocations and their financial impact from current date out to 5 years. Job responsibilities include managing the daily activities of the Heavy Maintenance Planning group, developing and overseeing the training required to grow the talent in the heavy maintenance planning organization, budgeting all heavy maintenance activity and participating in the continuous improvement of budget performance, traveling to Heavy Maintenance Facilities as required, developing and maintaining KPIs to track the performance in all areas pertaining to Heavy Maintenance or aircraft allocations, working with all groups involved in aircraft inductions and retirements to develop seamless transitions with fleet counts, managing, planning and communicating all maintenance allocations to the required departments within PSA, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary reports as required by the Heavy Maintenance Planning Group, ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed by the Heavy Maintenance Planning group, developing, refining, and implementing Heavy Maintenance current year and 5-year plans via the approved optimization software, maintaining the technical and company manuals used in Heavy Maintenance Planning group, establishing, overseeing, and auditing the Heavy Maintenance Program at the prescribed cadence to ensure compliance, leading the HMV Pre-Induction and Post Check Reviews for the respective MRO's, establishing and overseeing the optimum task yield based on the operation and other factors, ensuring Work Instructions are current and up to date, recommending changes or new procedures to improve department and system performance, responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent, at least 5 years' experience in maintenance planning, working knowledge of aircraft inspections and maintenance programs, strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills, advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs, display effective communication skills, both verbal and written, previous supervisory experience, ability to speak/read/write in English, and ability to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
