Position Specifics: Onsite in Glendale, AZ Full-time, non-exempt, hourly role Hourly Wage: Starting at $34/hour What You'll Do: Assist with start-up and commissioning of all chiller systems, including water-cooled and air-cooled chillers Inspect, diagnose, and repair chiller units, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, and associated HVAC equipment Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring energy efficiency and temperature control throughout the resort Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair chilled water loops, valves, piping, controls, and sensors Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to work orders as needed Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and the construction team to ensure systems are installed and functioning to spec Maintain logs, records, and reports per code and company standards Support operations post-opening with consistent, top-tier service and proactive upkeep The Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of hands-on experience with commercial or industrial chiller systems Familiarity with centrifugal, screw, and scroll-type chillers, cooling towers, and large-scale HVAC systems EPA Universal Certification required Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of BAS/BMS systems Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Comfortable working independently and as part of a larger engineering/maintenance team Willing to support the resort through both the construction and operational phases A true team player who lives the VAI CORE values: Collaboration, Ownership, Resilience, and Enthusiasm Physical Requirements: Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout a large property Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally Okay with some heat, dust, or noise while the property is still under construction Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor environments, including elevated areas and confined spaces What's in It for You: Competitive hourly pay and a full suite of benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, life insurance, and more A chance to join early and grow with a team that's building something bold from the ground up Hands-on experience with one of the most advanced and entertainment-driven resort environments in the country Be part of a property that blends luxury, music, innovation, and unforgettable experiencesand have your fingerprints on it from Day One Equal Opportunity Employer
