This role plays a vital part in ensuring infrastructure stability, optimizing system performance, and maintaining a hardened security posture in a high-stakes mission environment.
Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Linux and Windows-based systems Perform patching, system configuration, and performance tuning Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide user support Maintain virtualized environments using VMware or KVM Ensure DoD STIG compliance and manage backup/recovery solutions
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) 5 10+ years of professional systems administration experience Technical Skills: Proficiency with Bash and PowerShell scripting Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM) Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and core networking protocols Additional Perks: 5 Weeks of Paid Time Off Starting Day 1!
