The Opportunity We’re seeking a strategic, data-savvy leader for our
VP of Analytics & Process . This role will define, build, and oversee our enterprise-wide data management and analytics strategy, delivering transformational impact through advanced data science, actionable business intelligence, and intelligent automation. Reporting directly to the CIO, you’ll lead efforts around data integrity, quality, and governance – while fostering operational excellence and process improvement through data-driven methodologies. You’ll empower teams across the organization by embedding insights directly into the workflows that drive member success. Primary Responsibilities Strategic Analytics & Data Science Leadership Establish and lead Allegacy’s strategic analytics vision, aligning data science and advanced analytics initiatives with key business objectives. Drive analytics maturity across predictive modeling, AI/ML, segmentation, behavioral analysis, and prescriptive insights. Foster an insights-driven culture, translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies that drive growth and efficiency. Enterprise Business Intelligence & Data Management Lead the strategy and execution of the enterprise business intelligence roadmap, ensuring availability, accuracy, consistency, and scalability of data assets. Oversee data governance, data quality standards, data lineage, metadata management, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. Champion best-in-class BI tools and cloud data solutions (Power BI, Snowflake, Azure/AWS ecosystems, etc.) to provide real-time insights and decision support across teams. Spearhead data-driven process improvement initiatives, using analytics and automation to identify inefficiencies and accelerate performance. Lead automation strategies, deploying Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation, and low-code solutions that streamline operations and improve member experiences. Embed continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) across functions, fostering a culture of data-informed operational excellence. Cross-Functional Alignment & Collaboration Partner closely with executive stakeholders, including Digital Channels, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Risk, and Information Security, ensuring data strategies align with broader organizational goals. Support and Influence enterprise-wide strategic planning with insights, predictive modeling, and data-driven recommendations. Lead, mentor, recognize and develop a high-performing, collaborative team of data analysts, data scientists, BI professionals, and process improvement experts. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proven expertise with advanced analytics, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, Azure ML, etc.). Strong background in enterprise data management, data quality practices, metadata management, and data governance within regulated environments. Demonstrated success implementing and scaling BI platforms, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS). Experience deploying intelligent automation solutions, such as RPA, intelligent workflows, or process automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, ServiceNow). A record of driving measurable improvements in process efficiency, member/customer satisfaction, and organizational performance through data-driven methodologies. Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to clearly translate data complexity into strategic insights at board and leadership levels. Requirements
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Preferred Education: Master’s Degree Experience Required: 10+ years of progressive leadership in analytics, data science, business intelligence, or related fields, including experience managing large, cross-functional teams. 7+ years of Management Experience with demonstrated strategic leadership. Certifications or deep experience in data management methodologies or operational excellence frameworks preferred Hands-on experience with deploying AI-powered decision engines or integrating predictive analytics into real-time business processes preferred. Familiarity with financial industry data ecosystems and regulatory compliance frameworks preferred. Experience in at least one of the following: leading analytics modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise-wide data strategy programs.
