Structural Engineer

Field & Tung is a full-service consulting structural engineering firm specializing in structural design and investigation in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The primary focus is building structures and other specialty structures. Must have a Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering degree. We are seeking to hire at least one entry level structural engineer and a mid-level engineer. The firm provides professional engineering services across various market sectors, including commercial, institutional, education, healthcare, residential, entertainment, and government. Summary As a Structural Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and analyzing structures to ensure safety and functionality. The company works as both a design subconsultant and a prime consultant. This position is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality engineering solutions while fostering long-term client relationships. Responsibilities Design and analyze structural systems for various building projects. Prepare detailed calculations and technical documentation. Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop innovative solutions. Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to budgets. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and compliance with specifications. Provide technical writing support for reports and proposals. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress. Proven experience in structural engineering design and analysis. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or similar programs. Excellent technical writing skills for clear communication of complex ideas. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar software is a plus. Knowledge of structural civil engineering principles. If you are ready to make an impact in the structural engineering field.
