About the Role:
Stylus Medicine is seeking an Associate Director of Business Strategy & Analytics to support corporate initiatives and strategic planning. Reporting to the VP of Business Development & Strategy, this individual will collaborate closely with the R&D and Executive Leadership Teams to help shape Stylus Medicine's pipeline and partnering strategy.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth landscape and strategic assessments by conducting secondary research and expert interviews Track, synthesize, and report competitive intelligence on relevant programs and platforms within the cell and gene therapy space Generate market research insights to guide target and indication prioritization in collaboration with the R&D Team Support business development activities by preparing materials and analyses for discussions with biopharmaceutical partners Conduct search and evaluation for external technologies that potentially complement Stylus' in vivo genetic medicines platform Develop high-quality presentations and materials for internal strategy reviews and external corporate communications
The Ideal Candidate Brings:
Prior experience in life sciences consulting, investment banking, venture capital and/or business development (required) Strong scientific foundation and curiosity (required), ideally with a PhD in a life sciences discipline (strongly preferred) Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across scientific and business stakeholders (required) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of distilling complex analyses into clear, actionable insights (required) Solid understanding of the drug discovery and development process (required), ideally with exposure to genetic medicines (strongly preferred) Demonstrated ability to develop compelling presentations and engage effectively in external communications (required) Commitment to being on-site and in-person in Cambridge, MA (required)
