BIM Engineer

The BIM Engineer will work alongside the construction project team to deliver the 3D coordination process on multiple projects from concept to completion.
An in-depth 3D analysis of building systems and components is necessary to ensure their fit within the project design.
The BIM Engineer provides constructability review, 3D coordination, clash resolution, and assists in all phases of a project – working with design and construction professionals.
Core Competencies
Understanding of building construction and sequencing
Basic knowledge of structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and architectural systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, and related software
Collaboration with both internal and external teams
Generation of 3D views, drawings, and visualizations
Clash resolution and lift drawings
Basic knowledge of local building codes
Laser scanning and generation of point files
Conversion of 2D drawings to 3D models
Delivery of BIM as-builts
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, or 2 years of field experience
Familiarity with Autodesk Revit Suite, ProLog Manager, Primavera P6, or similar software
