The Software Systems Engineer will coordinate processes and facilitate collaboration between development, operations, program management, system architecture, and test automation teams within a DevOps framework. The role emphasizes process optimization, strategic planning, and communication, especially regarding Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) development and coordination. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Process Coordination and Optimization: Enhance efficiency through process improvements, collaborate with management, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with Program Management: Define requirements, ensure milestones are met, and provide project updates. Strategic Planning with System Architects: Design reliable, secure systems and participate in architectural reviews. Coordination with Test Automation Team: Integrate testing processes, support automation frameworks, and ensure quality. CDRL Development and Coordination: Lead development and timely delivery of CDRLs, ensuring quality standards. Facilitating Communication: Act as liaison among teams, organize meetings, and resolve issues. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation, prepare reports, and ensure stakeholders are informed. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant field. 5+ years of experience in software engineering, system administration, or DevOps. Active Top Secret security clearance for SCI access. Experience with Jira, CDRL development, DevOps tools, and network security. Effective in fast-paced environments with strong leadership and communication skills. Salary Range: $100,000 - $250,000 depending on experience.
