We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our enterprise systems and cloud infrastructure. This position requires a proactive individual with deep technical expertise across various platforms and a passion for problem-solving and innovation.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, WatchTower, and other components using Terraform). Administer Office 365 and Exchange Online environments. Administer and optimize Zscaler services, including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX. Configure and manage Intune environment, including device and application management (including Windows Defender). Maintain and optimize VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter, ESXi, and Horizon View. Administer Windows Server roles and services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and BitLocker. Maintain and monitor hardware systems, including Dell PowerEdge, PureStorage, and Ubiquiti Edge/Unifi. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Implement and enforce IT policies and security measures to protect organizational assets. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures. Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000/year, DOE Skills Required
Minimum 4 years experience Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role. Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, WatchTower, Terraform). Strong knowledge of Office 365, Exchange Online, and Intune. Expertise in managing Zscaler services (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX). Experience managing VMware vSphere environments (vCenter, ESXi, Horizon View). Solid understanding of Windows Server roles and services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and BitLocker. Knowledge of enterprise hardware (Dell PowerEdge, PureStorage, Ubiquiti Edge/Unifi). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, or Zscaler certifications. Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to IT (e.g., CMMC, NIST, C-SCRM). Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in management information systems, math, or engineering. Additional degrees or certifications may substitute for years of experience. Additional Details
