Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 Position Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive System Administrator to join our growing IT team. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our core IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft technologies, cloud migrations, and identity management and will play a key role in supporting end-user productivity and enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, Exchange Online, and Azure services. Configure and manage Azure Active Directory, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, and user provisioning. Support and maintain infrastructure systems including virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), networking components, and storage solutions. Lead and support cloud migration initiatives, ensuring security, reliability, and performance throughout the process. Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Manage patching, updates, and system backups to maintain security and operational continuity. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for escalated issues. Document systems, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the CIO on IT strategy and infrastructure improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices Requirements Qualifications: 4+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role. Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies including M365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Intune, and PowerShell scripting. Experience managing on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. Proven success in leading or supporting cloud migrations (e.g., file servers, mail systems, applications). Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs). Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools and processes. Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to resolving technical issues. Strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Must be willing to travel. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104). Familiarity with security tools and practices (e.g., endpoint protection, SIEM, compliance frameworks). Experience with Intune mobile device management.
