We are seeking a skilled Radiologist for a locum tenens position in Colorado through Barton Associates. This 40-day assignment begins on 09/01/2025, at a Hospital. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, covering 5-day stretches once or twice a month. The radiologist will be responsible for a wide range of diagnostic imaging services, including mammography, light interventional radiology, musculoskeletal imaging, MRI, CT, and ultrasound interpretation. Additional duties include upper GI studies, floor exams, bone biopsies, stereotactic breast biopsies, and paracentesis. MQSC certification for mammography is required. The provider will use Meditech EHR for patient management. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform and interpret mammograms (MQSC certification required)
Conduct light interventional radiology procedures
Interpret musculoskeletal imaging studies
Read and interpret MRIs, CTs, and ultrasounds
Perform upper GI studies and floor exams
Conduct bone biopsies and stereotactic breast biopsies
Perform paracentesis procedures
Utilize Meditech EHR for patient records and reporting
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and staff members
Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols
Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
Additional Information:
Must be licensed to practice medicine in Colorado
Board certification in Radiology required
MQSC certification for mammography essential
Experience in a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new work environments
Flexibility to work 5-day stretches once or twice a month
