This hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center providing comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility features advanced technology including EPIC EMR system and offers a collaborative environment with 24/7 intensivist and hospitalist coverage as well as round-the-clock trauma services.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
• Holiday coverage with ongoing dates beginning April 2026
• 24-hour call shifts (Mon-Sun) with 5-7 days per month commitment
• Must be able to perform ERCP and EUS procedures (required)
• Scope of practice includes endoscopy, GI bleed management, and evaluation of GI problems
• Inpatient setting with 8-10 new patient consults and 5-8 scopes per day
• Patient population includes adults, geriatric, and adolescents (15+ years and 50+ kg)
• GI service operates as a consult service only (no admitting)
• Active Colorado medical license required (or IMLC with LOQ in hand)
• Active DEA required for credentialing
• Gastroenterology Fellowship required
• Clean malpractice/background highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred with required pre-arrival training
• Local/drive-in candidates highly preferred
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days standard, emergency privileges 1-2 weeks with clean file
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
