- Other Details: This inpatient hospital-based opportunity utilizes EPIC for charting and Carestream PACS with EPIC RIS, supported by 24/7 IT and reading room assistance. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Nuclear Medicine with an unrestricted California medical license, BLS, DEA, and California RML, and have a clean history for temp privileges. The role involves interpreting a range of nuclear medicine studies including lymphoscintigraphy, pediatric nuclear medicine, therapies or specialized PET scans (PSMA & Dotatate), PET/CT bone scans, heart, renal, and liver scans. Shifts can be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (no call) or include optional night/weekend call, which may require loaner workstation setup. Average patient load ranges from 10 to 20 per day, covering both adult and pediatric cases. Therapies must be performed as part of responsibilities. Candidates must wear a mask if unvaccinated for COVID-19. Flu vaccination is required unless exempted for medical or religious reasons. Trauma Level II experience is also needed, and all hours during orientation are billable. Holidays observed include New Year s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
