We are seeking a Family Physician for a 63-day locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This opportunity, starting on Sep 22, 2025, requires a dedicated professional to manage a full spectrum of family practice duties. The ideal candidate will work full time, with options for a 4-day or 5-day work week, each day from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, focusing on woman's health and addiction treatment support. Job Details Location: Tennessee Start Date: Sep 22, 2025 LOA: 63 days Provider Type Needed: Family Physician Schedule: Full Time, options for 4 - 10s or 5 - 8s Responsibilities and Duties Conduct initial and annual physical examinations, including pap smears Initial evaluations for patients on methadone before referral to MAT programs Attend to sick calls and assist nursing staff with patient rounding Manage chronic care and preventative care follow-ups Handle minimal trauma triage, including suturing and splinting Maintain accurate patient charts, manage medication refills and address medication non-compliance Additional Information Required Board Certification: Family Medicine Must hold a valid Tennessee medical license Experience in woman's health and correctional facilities preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Familiarity with Nextgen EMR system Apply now to learn more!
