We are seeking a dynamic Director to lead our Before and After School Program at William E. Cottle Elementary School in Eastchester, NY. As Director, you will oversee all aspects of the program's operation.
Position Details
- Job Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
- Schedule: 7:00 - 9:00 am and 3:15 - 6:00 pm
- Pay: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and school rules.
- Lead engaging activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, arts, and homework assistance.
- Manage attendance, registration, staffing, and daily operations.
- Maintain communication with parents via the Playground App.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality care and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- 9 college credits in Early Childhood or related field plus a Child Development Associate Credential or equivalent, and two years of experience caring for children.
- Child Development Associate Credential plus one year of experience caring for children and one year in a supervisory role.
- Associate’s Degree in a related field plus two years of experience working with children under 13, including supervisory experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Medical fitness, including absence of communicable diseases.
- Friendly, professional, reliable, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and keep up with energetic children.
