Role Description: Director of Implementation
Full-Time | Remote
We are looking for an accomplished, strategic, and consultative Director of Implementation to join us as we scale. This role requires a self-starter, a quick learner, and a team player/collaborator who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
You will be directly responsible for taking new customers from contract signature through implementation and go-live. Our ideal candidate is a proven healthcare relationship builder who brings structure, urgency, and polish—and who can help shape our long-term strategy by refining our playbook for market growth.
The Director of Implementation will oversee the successful deployment of Clearpath’s platform across a range of healthcare settings. Key responsibilities include managing program implementation, leading and training teams, and analyzing performance data to ensure seamless integration and high client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end implementation process across customers and workflows, ensuring timely, high-quality launches
- Manage 30+ concurrent implementations, each with unique scopes and timelines, without compromising deadlines or quality
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders—including integration leads, marketing, sales, and account management—to align deliverables and communication
- Design and refine scalable implementation frameworks, playbooks, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Track and report on implementation KPIs (e.g., time-to-value, client readiness, platform adoption)
- Serve as the executive escalation point for complex or at-risk implementations
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment between implementation plans and business goals
- Facilitate smooth handoffs to the Account Management team post-implementation
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow enhancements
- Lead high-touch enterprise implementations and maintain strategic customer relationships as needed
Qualifications
- Must be highly likeable and able to establish rapport, trust, and credibility within minutes of a first impression
- Strong experience with project management and a working understanding of EHR, RIS, and PACS systems
- 5+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or project/program management (preferably in SaaS or healthcare tech)
- Demonstrated ability to scale implementation functions and shorten time-to-value at a high-growth company
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Expertise with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira)
- Process- and outcome-oriented with a bias for action and continuous improvement
- Strong management and analytical skills
- Experience in team management and leadership
- Proficiency in training teams and developing training materials
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and changing environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in the healthcare technology industry is a plus
