A highly skilled Data Scientist with hands-on experience in computer vision, machine learning, and perception algorithms, to support the Perception team of a leading autonomous vehicle client.
This role involves working with large-scale sensor datasets, developing machine learning pipelines, and supporting model training and evaluation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize ML/DL models for computer vision applications (object detection, segmentation, classification)
Work with large-scale vision datasets (camera, lidar, etc.)
Clean, label, and mine relevant data for training and testing
Analyze model performance and fine-tune based on client feedback
Collaborate with offshore/onshore engineers and perception algorithm developers
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning
Solid knowledge of Computer Vision algorithms
Strong proficiency in Python, NumPy, Pandas
Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV
Hands-on with data labeling, model evaluation, and dataset preparation
Familiarity with vision-based datasets and annotation standards
Good To Have
Exposure to autonomous vehicle domain
Experience working on sensor fusion, perception pipelines, or ADAS
Working knowledge of data versioning tools, MLflow, or Kubeflow
