Data and Information Architect

Digital Process Automation Team

Location: Chicago, IL | Contract | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Are you a data visionary ready to shape enterprise-wide transformation?

We’re looking for a strategic Data and Information Architect to join our Digital Process Automation Architecture team. In this role, you'll design scalable, secure, and future-ready data frameworks that support digital automation and data enablement across the enterprise.

• Lead enterprise-scale information architecture across key business capabilities and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop standards for data modeling, taxonomy, vocabulary, and metadata to promote consistency and reuse.
• Translate business needs into robust data models, ingestion pipelines, and publishing solutions—optimized for scale and performance.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and security practices in collaboration with Information Security.
• Use frameworks like TOGAF and C4 to bridge current-state systems with modern, cloud-based architecture.
• Advocate for emerging data technologies including Azure Databricks and polyglot database environments.

Core Skills and Technology

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise and cloud data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Services, and Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling tools.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with polyglot database environments, including Snowflake, MongoDB, CosmosDB, and Cassandra.
• Programming experience in Java and Python, including work with low-latency data processing systems.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, resiliency, and cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF and C4 modeling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
