Ascendo Resources is seeking an Estate and Trust Tax Manager for a full-time, remote role! Salary range is from $120,000 - $160,000 (base).

Our client is a leading boutique public accounting firm based in Miami, FL. Although fully remote, candidates would have to observe EST business hours (9am - 5pm).

Key Responsibilities

• Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations with a focus on trusts and estates.
• Oversee tax adjustments to financial statements and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Manage client engagements from start to finish, including budgets, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic tax planning and guidance.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Handle firm administrative functions such as time entry, billing, collections, and project tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation (Master’s in Taxation preferred).
• CPA license or CPA exam eligibility preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of public accounting experience.
• Exceptional analytical, technical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong relationship management skills and a team-oriented mindset.
