Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EDI / CPI Consultant for a 6-month contract role in the Bay Area.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
This role requires the ability to work onsite 3 days per week and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support and enhance EDI and CPI processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support EDI integrations between SAP and external trading partners.
  • Configure and maintain SAP CPI interfaces for seamless cloud-based integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI and CPI integrations.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand integration requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external data exchange standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
  • Perform testing and validation of interfaces, documenting test results and resolution steps.
  • Monitor interface performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in SAP EDI and SAP CPI integration.
  • Strong understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with iDocs, partner profiles, and EDI mapping in SAP.
  • Proficiency in SAP CPI (SAP Cloud Platform Integration) including building, testing, and deploying interfaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in a hybrid onsite/offsite model.
