Job Summary:

Adyen is a financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for major customers like Facebook and Microsoft. They are seeking an experienced Head of Project Operations to lead a team across North America and LATAM, focusing on the delivery of complex global rollouts and improving merchant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand a team of experienced customer project professionals focusing on different product and solution disciplines across North America and LATAM.

• As a professional services leadership team member, you will be responsible for the regional strategy, growth, and execution of the Project Operations team and contribute to the overall strategy and success of the North America and LATAM regions.

• Work with and influence strategic stakeholders to improve merchant experience, operations efficiency, and product delivery.

• Be an executive partner to the senior leadership of our merchants.

• You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build and expand highly effective and motivated Project Operations teams, build and expand better product delivery, and create an environment for continuous improvement.

• Develop, articulate, and execute a clear strategy for the team (also influence globally), in alignment with the company's overall business goals and market trends, to continuously evolve and improve how we work.

Qualifications:

Required:

• An experienced, entrepreneurial and strategic leader with a proven track record of success in driving continuous improvement, innovation, and results in an environment of rapid growth.

• Ability to drive executive-level relationships with clients and other external stakeholders while forging excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders.

• Ability to liaise with product leadership and influence the product strategy and part of ongoing feedback practices.

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and connect and collaborate seamlessly with a global, multi-cultural team working across time zones.

• Strong people leader with the ability to inspire, lead, and grow high-performing teams and their leaders.

• Proven track record of managing change and growing organizations at scale.

• Strategic thinker who can spot operational and commercial opportunities to drive customer value and scalable improvements.

• At least 5 years of people management experience (preferably experience managing manager of managers and across timezones).

• Strong reputation for 'getting things done', an entrepreneurial mindset that drives accountability for oneself and others.
