Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and future growth of a dynamic company in a fast-evolving sector. The position is located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Capital Markets & Funding: Lead all capital-raising activities, including debt and equity financing, and manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other capital market participants
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations
• Operational Finance: Manage cash flow, treasury functions, risk management, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial stability.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA, CPA, or CFA is strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably as a CFO or VP of Finance.
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, and capital allocation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Successful track record of raising capital and managing investor relations.
