Key Responsibilities

Communicate technical requirements with suppliers, including design/drawing reviews, configuration management input, tooling management, and quality documentation. Monitor supplier quality performance data and trends; collaborate with internal teams to implement improvement strategies through root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions. Participate as a technical expert in the supplier selection process, including surveys, qualifications, and ongoing evaluations. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with 35+ years of experience; or 10 years of manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree. Proficiency in engineering practices and process planning (drawing interpretation, tooling concepts, NDT, functional testing, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Strong ethical standards and professionalism. Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate using statistical tools, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Strong interpersonal skills for working across internal and external teams. Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and techniques (training may be completed upon hire). Knowledge of project management and Design of Experiments (DOE). Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and quality management systems. Experience with Investment Castings, Sand Castings, and related machining processes. Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., turning, milling) and knowledge of shop operations and maintenance procedures. Seniority level
