Logan Pass Construction The Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction, highly organized, and eager to learn all aspects of project delivery. You’ll work directly with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help drive project success while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain clear and consistent communication with the internal project team and external stakeholders. Create and distribute meeting agendas and meeting minutes, ensuring timely documentation of action items and updates. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and applicable codes/standards. Manage the submittal process including tracking, coordination, and review with design teams and subcontractors. Draft, issue, and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure responses are integrated into project documents. Managing, updating and distributing contract documents Maintain a procurement log, working closely with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely material and equipment delivery. Prepare and perform quality control inspections, using checklists and documentation to monitor project compliance. Identify and document deficiencies, notify responsible parties, and follow up to ensure resolution. Assist in preparing project closeout documentation and coordinate punch list completion with the project team. Conduct jobsite safety inspections and support enforcement of safety protocols and reporting. Collaborate with project management to develop scopes of work and budget documentation for subcontractor bidding and cost tracking. Utilize project management software (e.g., Procore) to manage and maintain accurate records of submittals, RFIs, drawings, inspections, and communication logs.
