Travel Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for patients of all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. Operate and maintain CT equipment (Carestream, Canon, Philips, Shimadzu) to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety. Prepare and administer contrast media as required, following established guidelines and safety standards. Perform specialized scans such as coronary CTA, CT arthrography, trauma head, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, soft tissue neck, and abdominal/pelvic studies with or without contrast. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Apply isolation precautions and infection control measures in all patient interactions. Document all procedures, patient data, and scan results accurately in the Epic charting system. Perform venipuncture for contrast administration when necessary. Provide patient education and emotional support to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation during procedures. Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain ARRT (R)(CT) certification and Texas MRT licensure. ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications BLS certification (ACLS & NIHSS may be required per facility policy) Proficiency with Epic charting system About Nationwide Therapy Group
