JOB SUMMARY In this position, you will serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to various clients and delivering them according to customer invoices and company standards. 10 Paid Holidays! Paid Weekly. Well Maintained Equipment - all automatics. Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401k and Sysco Stock Purchase Plan Evening Dispatch, Sunday - Friday Most routes out no more than 24 hours Open Interviews held every Thursday 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload products from the trailer, handling them safely in all weather conditions, and place them in designated customer storage areas. Complete all necessary paperwork according to company guidelines, ensuring all invoices are accurate and submitted on time. Adhere to food safety protocols, maintaining sanitary conditions in the vehicle and assisting in the warehouse as required. Build strong relationships with our customers through excellent service and clear communication. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, along with 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience. Completion of a driving school may also fulfill the educational requirement. 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience is required; food and beverage delivery experience is a plus. CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and be insurable to operate a vehicle. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe delivery practices. Strong driving skills for long distances and various terrains. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and solve problems. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires the ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 50 pounds, with heavier items transported using a hand cart. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment may include exposure to varying weather conditions and requires flexibility to work overnight, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
