Express Employment is currently seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator to join a team in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications, ensuring quality and precision in every task.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines based on job specifications and engineering drawings
- Inspect and measure materials to ensure conformity to required specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake machines
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure quality production
- Maintain production logs and document any issues encountered during the process
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brake machines
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality control
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and be flexible as required
