Dessert Holdings is looking for a Maintenance Clerk to join our team in Aurora, CO. This position provides administrative support to the maintenance function. This position is also responsible for understanding related Quality Management Systems including SQF, HACCP, and GMP to ensure safety and quality of employees and products. A supervisor or other person of authority should be notified if any issues or threats to food safety or food quality are observed.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units. Inputs maintenance information into the computerized system daily. May act as a point of contact with vendors to order, receive and ensure payment for goods and services. Prepares purchase orders for management approval, including assignment of general ledger codes. Receives and dispenses parts to mechanics according to policy and local operating procedures. Reviews purchase orders with accounting to ensure accuracy and proper payment of invoices. Produces various productivity and usage reports for management review. Follows all safety policies and procedures; participates with the team to achieve safety goals Assures parts organization and inventory. Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s). Adheres to PPE requirements as required. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS Able to stay focused in a loud working environment. Must have reliable transportation and can work a flexible schedule. Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary. Must be able to understand and follow written instructions. Must understand basic mathematical concepts. Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time. Basic computer skills required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to stoop, kneel or bend. Employee must be able to lift 50 pounds and is required to ask for assistance if limit is exceeded. Must be able to work in a food allergens environment.
