Maintenance Engineer

ASM Global . Responsibilities include maintaining and adjusting heat, lighting, air conditioning, power refrigeration, water treatment, and ventilation equipment of a building. May involve maintaining boiler systems, repairing and maintaining control panels and equipment, inspecting, and making emergency repairs to boilers, water, air, refrigeration, and oil lines throughout a building. Additional duties include cleaning tubes, testing valves and gauges, installing replacement parts, and performing modifications to existing equipment. Keep charts, prepare oral and written reports, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and the building. Operate boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators, air-conditioning units, and related equipment powered by steam, air, diesel, gas, water, or other energy sources. Patrol and control all mechanical equipment to ensure economical and efficient operation, adhering to all relevant codes and laws. Perform general building maintenance, including repairs to toilet facilities, radiators, lights, fixtures, furniture, walls, and floors. Requirements:
Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic. Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and odd hours. Knowledge of current building codes and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights. High school diploma or GED required. EPA Certificate 608 required. BOMA certification is a plus. Minimum two years experience in building maintenance or related field, with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
