Description of Project The Minnesota Client is seeking two full-time Java Developers/Programmers to provide technical support to the Shared Services and Enterprise Architecture (SSEA) Division. The role involves enhancing and supporting the Integration Layer related to the Minnesota Eligibility Technology System (METS). Responsibilities include development and maintenance of systems under the Enterprise Service Bus and Electronic Data Interchange (ESB & EDI) team, diagnosing issues, and providing solutions for the METS and related systems such as IBM/Curam Minnesota Minnesota Information Technology System (MN-ITS), 1095, ESB, etc. The work is currently remote.
Tasks and Deliverables
Review functional requirements
Create technical design documents
Transform designs into secure, high-functioning Java code
Integrate software solutions with applicable systems
Test and debug code
Perform security and efficiency upgrades
Communicate with business owners and stakeholders
Provide ongoing support and knowledge transfer
Minimum Qualifications
7 years' Java programming/development experience (or equivalent with degrees)
4 years' experience with state government health insurance systems
5 years' experience with Java and Spring MVC
2 years' experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
1 year' experience with IBM ACE
Desired Skills
Experience with StreamEDS, Drools, WebSphere, JPA/Hibernate, Maven, XML, Junit, JQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Oracle SQL, SOAP/REST Web services
Experience with full-stack Java development and ACA health care systems
Support and resolution of escalated customer issues
Strong communication, independence, and analytical skills
