Overview: We're excited to welcome a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
to our compassionate team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, the LCSW provides essential psychosocial support to patients and their families. You will conduct thorough assessments to identify needs, set goals, and develop interventions as part of a comprehensive care plan, utilizing your professional expertise and judgment throughout the psychosocial assessment process. About You: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program. Valid license as required by the state where you practice. A minimum of one year of experience as a Social Worker in healthcare or hospice is necessary; three to five years is preferred. Deep understanding of the challenges faced by terminally ill patients and their families, including the psychosocial dynamics of illness, loss, and death. Ability to apply specialized knowledge to address the unique needs of hospice patients and families, showing sensitivity to the impact of life-threatening illness. Strong skills in providing support during crises and handling the emotional stress of repeated loss.
