Weekend Industrial Maintenance Technician

Compensation:
The starting pay range for this position is
$25.24 to $29.64
depending on your experience. This is a weekend shift role, working

available for external candidates (details will be shared upon offer). Key Responsibilities: Perform skilled mechanical maintenance tasks, including installations. Understand and apply basic principles of cylinder repair. Repair and maintain various machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems. Troubleshoot equipment and address industrial electrical issues. Determine and carry out necessary maintenance and repair actions to restore effective operating conditions. Lubricate and clean parts, plan maintenance tasks, and carry out welding and metal fabrication as needed. Adhere to safety lockout procedures and plant safety rules, maintaining excellent housekeeping practices. Work independently and collaboratively with team members. Commit to a weekend schedule, with flexibility to work holidays as required. Qualifications: Proficiency in using hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments. Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems. Strong skills in root cause analysis. Expertise in multiple aspects of mechanical maintenance. High school diploma or GED required. A stable employment history with at least one (1) year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education (vocational/technical school certificate). Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Good communication skills and team-oriented approach are essential. Commitment to follow all electrical and maintenance practices. Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment. Ability to work in varying temperatures. A desire to learn and develop new skills. Desired Qualifications: Vocational or technical/trade school certificate. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a wood manufacturing facility. Proficiency in precision measuring equipment. Previous experience with SAP or other CMMS preferred.
