Description
The PC Support Technician provides on-site technical support for one or more office locations. This role demands strong customer service skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a broad understanding of IT systems and a passion for solving problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Issue Management & Resolution
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues.
Provide timely updates to users regarding ticket status and resolution.
Monitor and troubleshoot AV systems, including boardroom and event equipment.
Collaborate directly with end-users to identify and resolve technical problems.
Leverage internal knowledge bases and external resources to research solutions.
Maintain accurate and detailed records in the ticketing system.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
System Maintenance & Configuration
Perform routine maintenance on desktops and laptops.
Track and manage IT assets in accordance with company standards.
Execute data backups and restores as needed.
Configure hardware components such as drives, memory, network interfaces, and peripherals.
Install and configure operating systems, patches, and third-party software.
Support and enforce established IT standards; participate in testing new configurations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
