Our Software Engineering team plays a critical role in this journey, developing software that manages everything from rocket launches to factory automation utilizing our proprietary 3D printing technology.
About the Role:
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will:
Design and develop essential data components for our factory and launch software platform.
Create technologies for data abstraction and API development.
Build analytics and reporting architectures.
Manage and develop data models.
Develop Cloud and On-premise applications, services, and APIs.
Your contributions will drive the development of a distributed data platform, enabling seamless communication between our launch vehicles and manufacturing systems like the Stargate printers. In this position, you will make impactful decisions, mentor junior engineers, and enhance existing systems and toolsets.
About You:
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in scalable coding practices, including 1+ years leading data architectures.
Experience with data technologies such as InfluxDB, MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Kafka, and Spark.
Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Go, Python, C#, or Typescript.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and containerization tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
Nice to have:
Experience in Machine Learning, AI, or similar technologies, and a proven track record of scalable architecture creation across diverse organizations.
