DISPATCHER – Miami, FL. Dolphin Transportation Specialists/Key Transportation of Miami, FL is hiring Dispatch Agents Dolphin Transportation has been the largest independently owned, operated and maintained fleet of luxury vehicles in the South and Southwest Florida region, and is now a proud member of the Hoffmann Family of Companies. Dolphin/Key currently operates in the Naples/Ft. Myers, Sarasota/Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale/Miami areas and ever expanding, with the Hoffman Family of Companies is in many cities across the U.S. We are looking for motivated agents to join our team. Our agents are required to have a strong knowledge of dispatching, software, multi-line phones, data entry, excellent customer service via phone/email/etc. Below are listed requirements, responsibilities and qualities sought. Dolphin Transportation is a 24 hr/ 365-day operation. We operate 7 days a week and the hours will vary. Our Dispatchers may work morning/afternoon shift or afternoon/evening shifts depending on scheduling and reservations. Weekend work is also expected. All dispatching is done through either Naples, Sarasota or the Miami locations. Dolphin Transportation is the preferred & contracted transportation company for the finest luxury resorts in the area. With a full fleet of luxury sedans, SUV's, executive vans, mini and motor coaches, our commitment to quality and coordination abilities has made us experts in transportation services. We service all the colleges and universities and hotels and cruise ports in Florida. Our ideal candidate will have the following strengths:

Dispatching / Customer Service experience in the travel/Hospitality Transportation business

Knowledge of the area

Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties

Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

High energy level and commitment to assigned tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

Must speak and write fluent English, Spanish is a plus

Solid computer skills including software, Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to master new programs quickly

Santa Cruz Transportation software experience preferred

Customer Service oriented with experience handling customer complaints and problems

Required to work in office, schedule flexibility is important as Dolphin is open 24/7, 365 days/ year.

JOB DUTIES:

Answer incoming calls

Enter Reservations into Santa Cruz

Communicate with drivers and customers by telephone and email

Update dispatch logs/spreadsheets

Monitor the vehicle and driver grid

Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles based on workload

Maintain a close working relationship with the sales and maintenance departments
