$21/hour Remote Customer Service Representative (Healthcare)

TEKsystems is hiring Remote Customer Service Representatives to support a high-impact healthcare initiative. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients and providers, offering operational and reimbursement support for complex medical programs. You will play a key role in removing barriers to therapy access, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care.
This is a remote, high-volume, inbound call center role requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main liaison for patients and providers, resolving access and reimbursement issues.
Handle high volumes of inbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
Perform accurate data entry into program tracking systems.
Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
Participate actively in training sessions and maintain engagement via camera.
Work independently while adhering to remote work protocols and security standards.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of healthcare customer service experience
2+ years of call center experience
Proven success in a remote work environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High proficiency with technology and software tools
Demonstrated empathy, patience, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be available to work on an EST schedule
Must successfully complete a data entry and call center assessment
Preferred Experience:
Experience with major medical programs
Familiarity with buy and bill processes
Knowledge of acquisition channels
Experience in insurance benefits verification

Training Details:
Duration: Up to 5 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
Attendance: 100% required; no PTO allowed during training
Post-Training Shifts: Will be assigned before training ends; hours of operation are 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM EST
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
