Job Details
Key Responsibilities
* Handle complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial * Conduct discovery, including depositions, document review, and motion practice * Draft pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents * Manage case strategy and client relationships * Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation * Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues * Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings * Work collaboratively with partners and senior associates * Develop and maintain client relationships
Requirements
* J.D. from accredited law school with strong academic credentials * 3-6 years of commercial litigation experience * Active membership in the California State Bar * Strong experience in business disputes and commercial litigation * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proven track record in motion practice and discovery * Trial experience preferred * Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
