Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned attorney to join our employment law practice at the Counsel level. This role involves a mix of litigation and day-to-day counseling for employers across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to client service.

What You’ll Do

Represent employers in state and federal employment litigation, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims. Advise clients on workplace policies, compliance, investigations, and risk mitigation strategies. Handle matters before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, CHRO, and DOL. Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and internal policies. Collaborate with partners and clients on strategic case planning and preventive legal solutions.

What We’re Looking For

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Connecticut. 8+ years of experience in employment litigation and counseling. Strong understanding of federal and Connecticut employment laws and regulations. Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and client communication skills. Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively with a close-knit team.
