Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Develop requirements, assess modernization opportunities and consult on data patterns to support user consumption of data
Establish and promote data engineering best practices and standard patterns within the defined data foundation tools
Provide guidance and support to data practitioners in adopting these standards
Required qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining data engineering solutions.
Proficiency in data analysis and data management Tools
Strong skills in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire).
Experience working with data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synpase, Databricks).
Understanding of data capabilities such as data governance, data lake, AI and Data science
Bachelor's or master's in computer science, data science, or related discipline.
Proficient in data acquisition, wrangling, and preparation
Proficient in deploying and managing resources in the cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure
Experience in energy or supply chain sector
