Allergy Care Solutions
Job Responsibilities
Learn all aspects of allergy care, including allergy testing, preparing (mixing) allergy serums, and administering allergy shots.
Educate patients on allergy treatments, procedures, and their benefits.
Provide high-quality patient care with strong clinical competence and a solid knowledge base.
Build and maintain professional, effective relationships with providers, office staff, and our Allergy Care Solutions team.
Remain detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while providing allergy testing and treatments.
Manage weekly and monthly patient serum maintenance, update patient records, remove expired documentation, verify insurance, and contact patients with expired serums for follow-up.
Maintain the immunotherapy room by ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Consult with physicians regarding patient treatment plans as needed.
Requirements & Preferences
Medical Assistant certification or experience in an allergy practice preferred (not required). CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain). Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong knowledge of medical terminology. Proven problem-solving abilities. Able to perform a variety of complex tasks that require independent judgment and application of knowledge. Ideal for students currently in school who need a flexible schedule full-time or part-time options available. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $15 $19/hour, based on experience. Uniform Allowance: $100. Paid Time Off: 8 hours to start, plus an additional 32 hours after 90 days (pending approval). Competitive salary, supportive team environment, and growth opportunities.
